ADI EFR stands for "Emergency First Response" and is a training program offered by the Professional Association of Diving Instructors (PADI). The program focuses on teaching individuals the knowledge and skills needed to provide emergency first aid in non-diving and diving related situations.

During the PADI EFR course, participants learn how to assess an emergency situation, how to provide CPR and rescue breathing, and how to use an Automated External Defibrillator (AED). Additionally, the course covers how to manage shock, spinal injuries, and other common medical emergencies.

The PADI EFR program is designed for anyone, not just divers, who wants to learn how to respond to emergencies. It is a prerequisite for the PADI Rescue Diver course and is also recommended for anyone planning to participate in any adventure sport.
