PADI Rescue diver

PADI Rescue Diver is a scuba diving course offered by the Professional Association of Diving Instructors (PADI) that teaches divers how to prevent and manage diving emergencies. It is designed for certified Open Water Divers who want to expand their knowledge and skills in diving safety and emergency management.

The course includes knowledge development sessions, confined water exercises, and open water scenarios that cover the following topics:

1. Self-rescue and diver stress
2. Emergency management and equipment
3. Panicked diver response
4. In-water rescue breathing protocols
5. Egress (exits) considerations
6. Dive accident scenarios

Upon completion of the course, you will be able to recognize and respond to diving emergencies, manage diving-related stress and anxiety, and assist other divers in distress. The PADI Rescue Diver certification is a prerequisite for the PADI Divemaster and PADI Master Scuba Diver ratings.
